Karin Inge - Lower Mainland and Vancouver Wedding Photographer
I’m a Lower Mainland and Vancouver wedding photographer who understands that this isn’t just another event—it’s a day you’ve poured your time, energy, and heart into. Your photos aren’t simply images; they’re the only lasting record of the moments that matter most, with all your favourite people in one place—something that will not likely happen again. There’s no second chance to capture it, which is why I show up prepared, organized, and fully present from start to finish. While you’re caught up in the day, I’m paying attention to the in-between moments you might miss, like the quiet reactions, quick glances, the laughter happening just outside your view. I bring years of experience, a calm approach, and a sense of fun that helps you actually enjoy being in front of the camera. A good wedding photographer does more than take pretty pictures. On your wedding day I will keep you on time, keep things running smoothly, and create photographs that feel honest to who you are—so when you look back, you don’t just see the day, you remember exactly how it felt.

You’re not just hiring a Lower Mainland and Vancouver wedding photographer—you’re trusting someone to handle one of the most important parts of your day. I keep things organized so nothing gets missed, but flexible enough that the day never feels rushed or forced. I’ll guide you when you need it and step back when you don’t. Most of all, I want you to feel comfortable. When that happens, the photos come naturally and actually reflect who you are.

Every wedding is different, and your photos should reflect that. It doesn't matter what venue in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver or anywhere else you're getting married. Your wedding is unique. My approach to wedding photography is simple: real moments over staged ones, and genuine connection over perfect poses. Whether your day is big and lively or quiet and personal, I focus on capturing it in a way that feels true to you. The goal isn’t just to make things look good—it’s to make them feel familiar when you look back years from now.

There’s a lot happening on a wedding day, and no one can see it all—not even you. While you’re focused on your partner, your family, and everything unfolding around you, I’m watching for the smaller moments happening in the background. The funny moments, the reactions, the hugs, the laughter between guests, the quick looks that say everything. These are the parts of the story that often go unnoticed in the moment, but end up meaning just as much later.

I photograph weddings throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including New Westminster, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, North Vancouver, Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Langley. Whether your wedding is in mountains, the city, by the water, or somewhere more tucked away, I’m familiar with the area and comfortable adapting to different locations, timelines, and lighting situations.
How far in advance should we book a Vancouver wedding photographer?
Most couples book 8–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates. If you have a specific date in mind, it’s always best to reach out early.
Do you travel across the Lower Mainland?
Yes, I regularly photograph weddings across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including surrounding cities and venues. I'm also available for destination weddings.
How many photos do we receive?
Every wedding is different, but you can expect a carefully edited gallery that tells the full story of your day without unnecessary repetition.
What happens if something goes wrong on the wedding day?
Part of my job is being prepared for the unexpected. I bring backup equipment, plan ahead, and stay adaptable so things continue smoothly no matter what comes up.
We’re awkward in front of the camera—can you help?
Absolutely. Most people feel that way, and it’s completely normal. That's why I include complimentary engagement sessions with every wedding package. It's your training session for your wedding day, so to speak. I’ll give you simple direction when needed, keep things relaxed, and help you feel comfortable so nothing feels forced.
